Re: N.W Area + Northern Results

Hi,

In the north of England programme it also says this and Alan Hope at
the results said the same thing. Not really sure what that means but
I can only presume that they are covering their backs in case
anyone breaks the rules regarding registration and what have you.

1st Section results from Darlington:

1st place, Played No.1, 189 Points, Greggs Bakery Band
2nd place, played No. 11, 188 points, Rowntree
3rd place, played No. 4, 186 points, Kirkbymoorside Town
4th place, played No.2, 185 points, Flookburgh band

Everyone from Greggs had an excellent day and we were delighted to
win the 1st section at our first attempt. We're already booked up
for Nottingham (if we get an invitation)! All the best to bands still
to compete all over the country.
