Thanks to everyone (especially Steve Mead) for fighting the BBC and winning.
The euphonium will now be allowed to compete in the BBC Young Musician 2000
Competition.
David Childs has already sent off for his application form.

Thanks to everyone who supported in this worthwhile cause.
