Simcoe, Ontario, March 10, 1999=EF=81=83The Salvation Army Simcoe Communi
ty Church
is pleased to announce that Robert Venables, the principal trumpet player
from the Toronto, Ontario production of The Phantom of The Opera, will be
performing in Simcoe on the 27th of March.  The concert will take place a
t
the Emmanuel Bible Church, 24 Churchill Circle (behind the Simcoe Mall) a
t
7:30 p.m.  Venables, also former principal Trumpet for the Hamilton
Philharmonic Orchestra will be accompanied by the Hamilton Temple Band of
The Salvation Army from Hamilton, Ontario.  This brass band has toured
extensively both in the past and recently, including tours to the hotbed
of
brass banding, Great Britain.  Venables has recently recorded a solo albu
m
accompanied by the Brighouse & Rastrick Band from England, a perennial
favourite in the All England Brass Band Championships and 1997-1998
