One of the earlier postings referred to the SCABA Approved test piece list.
This list was discontinued some time ago.

The list was at one time, a definitive list of works that were permitted to
be played at SCABA contests and bands were required to play from their
section list, higher sectio lists of seek approval for unlisted works. The
Nationals test pieces were automatically added.

The list was withdrawn after much debate as it did cause bands a few
problems - once it was discarded, a number of bands restarted contesting as
they could now play works that, whilst possibly better suiting a lower
section band, were playable by bands having difficulties in recruiting- and
we all go through bad patches once in a while.

If i can find a copy of the list in it's final edition, I'll post it on the
SCABA site.
