It's been a while since my last contentious posting but I believe the list
is ready for another one:

Registration - many of you may know me as an evangelist for the total
removal of all registration systems, a view I still hold. It strikes me that
this is a dead easy one to crack. A simple rule, a player may not play with
more than one band in the same competition. (that would include the complete
round of national qualifiers in the UK).
In the event that someone does, the musician themselves are banned from
contesting for 10 years, the individual bands who allow this to happen are
banned for 5 years each.
The whole thing becomes self policing, there is no paperwork and nobody pays
registration/transfer fees.
