No doubt a list member will put me right if I'm wrong. Spot on Colin, although all the Beatles' albums (and the majority of their singles) were recorded there - the exception being "Let It Be". Paul McCartney was the barefooted Beatle in question. Legend has it that as it was such a hot day (in August) and his house was (literally) just around the corner from the Studio (in Cavendish Avenue), he walked without shoes to the recording/photo session.
