Disagree with the 'trick'.  I have a copy of the book in reference "The Easy
Method". The book was expressing a concept of 'little pressure or minimal
pressure' vs the literal 'no pressure.  Physics aside, human tissue deprived
of blood is deprived of oxygen ergo loss of strength, hence, minimal
pressure is desirable.
