Well,

I guess the cheepest option is booking a studio for a weekend and cutting a
disk then getting your mate (if you should have such a mate) to copy them
with their CD Writer :) 

I know this probably isn;t much help, but this is how a group of us did it
recently (although there was only 10 of us!)

on a possibly more helpful note :
Other smaller Bands do CD's "Abbey Brass" (Abingdon) - 4th Section have done
one and I know they have members on the list maybe you could start there? .
