As far as Buxton goes the tourist information office in Buxton gave me the
date of 2 May when I asked the other week, and a telephone number to ring in
office hours of 01298 23114.  Incidentally they have a brass band in the
Pavillion Gardens every Sunday 2:00 - 400pm from now to the end of summer.
