Edy Van Asch said that players did not leave Dyke because of women joining.
Sorry, not true! That's the exact reason two of them gave me!

I know loads of blokes who've left bands because of women joining, one left
a top class band when his own wife joined!

I do think there are some very good women players, including the sop from
Rothwell, but it is a fact that lots of men don't want them in their band
and will leave if they join.
