I was once told that if you gave enough Monkeys enough typewriters they would eventually write the Encyclopedia Britannia. Recent mailings to the list have led me to doubt this fact. I offer you all the following poem to put this "Women in Banding" issue in it's right perspective. "A Monkey" Once was there a Monkey Sitting in a tree In the far far west of Oz Alone and bored was he Someone gave him a puter He tapped away with ease He knew not what was written He just loved to hit those keys His messages always were history What he'd done and who he knew He soon was known only for his words And not the notes he blew And then one day he noticed He was not receiving emails So in an effort to be heard He attacked our banding females Now notoriety is fine And we all must have our say But as the girls attacked him back His answers held no weigh His reasons were "just cause" And "that's the way it is" He assumed a right to open his mouth With naught between his ears But don't be harsh on Monkey His history must be seen Cause Margaret Thatcher was his ruler And Elizabeth his Queen Enjoy banding and keep laughing Tony Kavanagh -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to
