1.  Whit Friday marches.  An invitation players from other bands to join
us. Cost ?5 per head.  All those who want to will march but the 25 to play
at the contest sites will be selected by Ian Scott.  Anyone wishing to be
considered to play at the contests must be at the rehearsal on Monday
24.5.99.  Coach likely to leave Kibworth at 3pm Friday 28.5.99, pick up at
Leicester Forest Services (M1 Northbound).

2.  Swiss Open.  Vacancies for 2 good standard all round percussionists
(regular players not available due to other commitments).  Set test piece
is "Paganini Variations", own choice still to be confirmed.  Cost to
players is ?95 +?15 insurance for the coach journey (leave 23.9.99, return
28.9.99) and 5 nights bed & breakfast accommodation. (wives/partners cost
?195 + ?15).  No transfer of registrations needed - contest not under
National Contesting Council rules.
