Hi fellow listers, Anyone within striking distance of Belfast may be interested to know that Birmingham Citadel Band of the Salvation Army are visiting the city this coming weekend (15th & 16th May). It sounds as if we have a very busy schedule, and all are welcome to hear us. I understand we're doing marches, bandstand on Sat. afternoon before a festival at night. On the Sunday we'll be, among other things, leading worship at the Belfast Temple Corps who are hosting us during our visit. The band is in good form at the moment playing an interesting repertoire with some very good soloists. We're also adding another dimension to our programme with the use of multi-media presentations to enhance the message of the music as we play. If you do manage to get along, and everyone's welcome, I'm the tall one playing horn! For detail about timing, events, locations etc, you'll need to contact the Belfast Temple Corps. The phone number should be in the phone book if you're local, or you should find it on line at the Salvation Army's UK site. The address for this is; www.salvationarmy.org.uk Hope to see some of you at the weekend, kindest regards, Edward. -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to
