Those on the list who are interested, the CD of this year's Australian
National Brass Band Championships is now out.

The play list is:

1999 champions Hawthorn - Amazing Grace, Himes (winning hymn), On Alderley
Edge (winning test)

Kew Band - Paganini Variations (winning own choice). From Gala concert:
Shine as the Light, Endearing Young Charms (the Marsalis version) - a
premiere recording with Glenn McGowan as the soloist.

Waitakere - Celebration (winning stage march), The Holy Well - premiere
recording featuring Riki McDonnell.

South Australian Brass - Barnum and Bailey's Favorites

Christina Bowden (cornet soloist) and Willoughby Juniors - Pastorale.

The disc sells at $AUD 25 plus freight.

BTW, thanks Wendy for the plug about Australia 98. Copies are still
available.
