To List Members in BC and Washington NW
There will be a grand Brass Praise Weekend this coming week at The
Salvation Army Cariboo Hill Temple Corps.
Five Brass Bands will be featured:
Seattle Temple Band
Victoria Citadel Band
Southmount Citadel Band
Inter-Divisional (International) Youth Band
Cariboo Hill Temple Band

Also in attendance as special guests are:
Territorial Bandmaster Brian Burditt - Toronto - Salvation Army
Territorial Music Secretary and Bandmaster of Canadian Staff Band
(CSB)
Captain Kevin Metcalf - Principal Solo Cornet of CSB
Kevin Hayward - Principal Trombone of CSB

The main programme will take place on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm
with all bands performing as a combined unit and each band being
featured on their own. Kevin Metcalf and Kevin Hayward will also
perform some solos.

Admission charge - Collection only

Also in attendance will be the Territorial Commander for Canada
and Bermuda - Commissioner Norman Howe - and his wife Commissioner
Marion Howe
Commissioner Norman Howe will be at Cariboo Hill Temple Corps on
Sunday morning as well.

Lt Colonel Chris Buchanan - Divisional Commander of The North West
Division - (Washington) will also be accompaning Seattle Temple
Band and will be with them on Sunday morning at Southmount Citadel
Corps.

This promises to be a great event and special thanks go to B/M
Dave Michel of CHT for his foresight and organisation of this
weekend.
