I have to say that i really do like "lark in the clear air", but some others around are: * Siciliana and Giga * September Fantasy (a bit tricky for solo and band) * Episode (very tricky for soloist) * Concerto (transcribed from oboe: Bellini) - very nice! * Somewhere out there - from An American Tale (horns and bari's i think) There are a few more can't remember all of them though - i'll have a look at home and let you know of anymore goodies!! A good place to look is the associated board exam syllabus it will also give you an idea about the difficulty/suitability of the piece. If anyone else knows of some recent additions to the repertoire i would be interested too. Thanks, Faye -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to
