Dear All,

Before the list got closed down for a few days, there were lots of
references to this year's Whit Friday Marches, and a developing curiosity
about a band called Wuss Brass 2000.

I am pleased to announce the official website for WUSS BRASS 2000 has now
finished being flung together .... everything you never wanted to know
about this new fangled band is ready and waiting to be discovered at:

http://www.justselect.co.uk/wussbrass2000.

To save clogging the list with loads of information here, please take a
look at the site, where you can find out where the name came from, what the
point of the band is, some background information on the Whit Friday
Marches and the Saturday Beer Walk, and there's also a sign up form, should
you be interested in being part of it all.

To avoid any confusions - Wuss Brass 2000 has been created by a group of
list and non-list members and welcomes anyone (regardless of internet
connectivity) who'd like to be involved, can play a march and likes the odd
tipple.  It is not limited to list members, and as such should not be
looked upon as an indication that we are trying to compete with or detach
ourselves from Cyberband 2000 - in fact we are hoping that Wuss Brass 2000
and Cyberband 2000 might be able to meet up during the weekend, bringing
even more fellow bandsmen together on the 'fitting a face to a name' front!

All is revealed on the website - so please feel free to take a look, and if
nothing else, have a bit of a chuckle!
