I had the privilege to attend, on Saturday evening, the concert in Norwich
Cathedral. For once the audience was treated to a full evening of serious
music, quite fitting for a Cathedral concert. And what a performance by the
GUS Band. They were a real powerhouse of sound when the music required
it-but they also produced some wonderfully melodious chords-especially the
final chord of 'The Spire at Cowholm'. If there has been any doubt that GUS
are making a come back  then rest assured that, on that performance, they
are
truly back. It was a fine concert, well put together by MD Melvin White and
superbly played by the band. Well done GUS and thanks for a marvellous
evening.
