Hi

It was not that long ago the NCC tried to arrange an extra contest open
to 3rd. or 4th. placed bands at their Area of the Championship section,
in order to increase the entries. That's not in the "Rules".

That idea seemed OK to them. But it didn't work.!

Too many bands have either been relegated to a lower section, or cease
to exist on the strength of insensitive application of regulations.

The organisers of the Mineworkers' Championship, 'phone round all the
bands, a few days before the deadline. They also accept last minute
delays if subsequently acted upon. Not all are so autocratic.

It's time the NCC acted within the Spirit of the rules. And give
assistance to those who are having temporary administration
difficulties.
