Ok, everybody has their opinions.

Well done.

That's what he told you ;-)

Maybe he has, but not this time.

My point was it is so easy to do. With so many events to arrange, contests to
enter, players to chase, etc. etc. a secretary can confuse one entry date with
another, think they still have plenty of time left to get the entry form in. I hope
that these three bands get their legal case together, and force these guys to
change their mind - it's shocking that they can get away with it. Some rules need
to be upheld - for example, registration. But an entry form is easy to forget, and
a simple phone call would have solved it. This must have happened before - and
common sense has solved it in the past.

That's so wrong - it's not a case of not being bothered, it's a simple error by the
secretary. The bigger error is the decision to disqualify these bands.

It's always worth it - but these three bands put in a lot of work to qualify, only
for the NCC to take that away for next to no reason. They now feel that every rule
must be adhered to. What does happen when one of the top two or three bands make
one error in administration ?

How many committees share the administration ?? Or check it, or know when the
entrys have to be in ??

These are my opinions, and probably the opinions of the majority of sensible people
who want common sense to prevail. Where does it all end ??
