Just my 00.02p's worth on the subject (dons asbestos Y fronts)

I fail to see how a rule that states in effect "entry forms must be received
by ....." can in fact be open to any interpretation. This is an absolute
offence if you like, either it happened or it didn't. Any band entering
these championships is in fact agreeing to be bound by the rules that govern
them. The bands that have been disqualified really need to look to their own
systems to make sure that such a mistake does not happen again. In the
meantime if bands find rules that they feel need changing then they should
work from within the organisation to effect this change.
