Hi

Back in the 1980's I had a British Bandsman diary which published 
the serial numbers of some instruments and the associated dates 
of manufacture.

Maybe you could try the BB or Booseey & Hawkes direct - or 
some kind person on the list may, unlike me, still have their old 
diaries and contact you direct
