I totally agree, and in Desfords case this is not the first time recently,
Bandsmen (and women) in the Midlands are may remember a begging letter sent
out by Desford to other bands in the midlands area asking for them to stand
by them in an appeal because they forgot to sign all their players up in
time for the deadline of the 1997 regional qualifiers.
