I am an Australian member of The Sydney 2000 Olympic Band, and after having
rehearsals with the Australian contingent, im suprised that they even
SCROUNGED up 500 members, there were about 30 members all up that even knew
what marching was, lucky for me I had been marching mostly all my life, but
for most of the members marching just wasn't their thing - TAKE IT FROM ME
I KNOW!!

I am sick of people raising issues that just degrade the band and make a
useless sense of pride which I and the 449 others were looking forward too,
I hope people like you feel impressed with yourselves, because all of you
have destroyed and ridiculed OUR DREAMS.

The final notes in brief that I can say is - If there were 2000 teenagers
with the skill to play and the skill to learn a whole new marching style (it
just doesn't end with a 7 inch step) then I could just about guarantee that
Mr Birch's decision would have been different.

The idea was for an international marching band, and because of your
selfishness and people like you, my dream just wont be the same.


Thank You to the dream breakers I hope your all are PROUD, because your
certainly not going to get any from the Australian contingent after your
selfish comments.
