Becky.  There is a very good book called "Triumphant Brass" written by a man
who worked on the "Times" which gives the hsitory of women in
.banding....Betty Anderson..etc.  I borrow it from time to time from my
local library.  If you cannot obtain it let me know and I will get it out
again and see if I can help.  There were FOUR sister once in a band here in
N. Wales.  One played in the Nat.Youth Band.  I think I have a photo. of
them somewhere.   Glad to be of help.  Dave Williams.
