To those members, or friends of Ashton Band on the list, please pass on my
congratulations to all the band members on their continued success and
promotion to the top flight.

Being from Ashton myself I have witnessed originally the decline and now
excellent progress of the band with interest over the years, and was very
pleased to read of the band's win at the Nationals.

Congratulations also to the other winning and promoted bands.
