Hi all Although off the topic slightly, one of my favourite excuses was given by Peter Cook. He was asked to attend an awards ceremony or chat show some time well in advance to which he didn't want to go. His reply was ' Sorry I cannot attend, on consulting my diary I find that I am watching television that night'. Jeremy --
