Concert announcement..............

The world premier of a major work for tuba and wind band will take place
tomorrow evening (Wed 6th October 1999) at the Plymouth Pavilions, Plymouth
U.K.

Steve Sykes, accompanied by The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines
Plymouth, will perform 'FOUR TEMPERAMENTS' (Variations for Tuba & Wind
Band) composed by Michael Brand.

A 'concerto length' work, 'Four Temperaments' will be conducted by Major
Peter J Rutterford in his farewell concert with the band (he retires from the 
RM band service after 35 years service).

The composer will be present, and both he and the soloist would enjoy
meeting any list members in attendance.

The concert will also feature a spectacular 350 strong massed choir!
