Colin Why Russians? and why Shropshire? Haslemere (with an s not a z) is based on the Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex borders and the last movement is a czardas. This is (according to Encyclopaedia Britannica) the national dance of Hungary. Mind you, I haven't seen many Hungarians in our part of the world either -:).
