Very sorry to see Slaidburn, surely with Pennine Way, 2 of the finest marches 
ever written.

Played a Dutch arrangement of 'Stop' by the Spice Girls in the Summer. 
Without doubt the worst piece I have played in 28 years of brass banding; 
with the possible exception of nearly every trombone trio ever written for 
brass band. Come on you composers and arrangers, how about some decent trios 
for us trombone players. Trombola, Dem Bones etc aaaargh!
