Converting $50 to sterling, the ticket price is about 20.  Putting this
into perspective using concert adverts in back copies of the British
bandsman:

Brighouse & Rastrick     Corn Exchange Theatre    7
Marple			    Oakengates Theatre	7
Brighouse & Rastrick       Regent Hall SA		9
Canadian Brass		Regent Hall		    9
Fodens			    Buxton Pera House	9
Woodfalls			Portsmouth SA		5
Yorkshire BS		    Euro 2000 gala	    10
					Birmingham Symphony Hall

I think I have just proved that relative to what Black Dyke would charge in
UK, the concert is overpriced.  I can't see that I would pay normally pay
20 to just hear a concert.  Of course, the cost of travelling to the
concert is a bit more than catching a coach down the M1 in the UK!!
