Worst adjudicating decision has to be this:

Last year, at the Ashington Miner's picnic contest, our band won the best
percussion prize, for being "the only band to have a percussionist who
didn't try to dominate the ensemble" (quote).

We were the only band in the contest who didn't use a drummer.
