Casting a rather wide net there, aren't we, Gemma?????????
So you would also like to rule out (as they are orchestral pieces arranged for
brass band) pieces like Pines of Rome, Daphnis & Chloe, Checkmate, Le Roi d'Ys,
Firebird, 9th of January, Russalka's Song to the Moon, Romance from The Gadfly,
Russlan & Ludmilla, Pictures at an Exhibition, Ravel's Bolero, March to the
Scaffold, West Side Story, etc. etc. etc.
I don't think we'd have much concert material left after this,, except lots of
pop tunes, show tunes, jazz tunes and singalongs.
Time to retire, I think....:)
