Edy, I have been in a situation recently where the band would only play
music on the groan list it did them no god as musicians and me certainly as
a conductor
although I must say that the payning public and thats who we have to play to
enjoy and expect this sort of music most of the time.
I feel that it is our job as musicians to slowly educate the listening
public into listening to real music but we must remember 'He pays the piper
gets the best tunes'
