Hi again Rod.  I have had some more advice about that "flat" bottom B on the
flugel which is worrying me, and coincidentally ties in with all this talk
about drugs.  Someone has told me about a little blue pill called Niagra or
something....suggesting taking a few of these might raise the low note a
bit.  Apparently there may be some unpleasant side effects (?) and all other
notes may be sharper. ; to overcome this one may take a few Prosacs and this
will enable you to go even lower (or higher) than the pedal notes mentioned.
By the way have you written any pieces for those lovely flugel pedal notes.?
My instrument now sounds like a Bb Bass. !     Cheers. David.
