Haven't written anything specific but occasionally use them if I'm doubled
with Euphs or Bari's (bless their cotton sox) to blend the tones.

Don't know about the Niagra - sounds too close to Viagra Falls and that's
not the effect we're looking for!

If you're into pedals then the next step is polyphonics - you get to play a
duet with yourself. James Morrison (Oz muso) does a great rendition of
polyphonics on Trombone as one of his features. If you can blow and sing
(growl) the correct notes in tune the resonance of the horn can produce
another harmonic giving a third note - trios by yourself - but it is
difficult to maintain if you are shifting notes by either medium. Good
throat exercise to keep it open and relaxed. Have fun.
