HI, everybody! I have to agree with Andy here. Not only is taking unprescribed medicine unwise, but giving it out is unwise and illegal in most places. Beta blockers, like Inderal were originally developed for heart problems (it serves to reduce the amount of oxygen that the heart requires by slowing it down, a good thing to do if you are having a heart attack or an arrythmia, but a VERY BAD thing to do if you are otherwise healthy!) Furthermore, (at least in these litigious United States), if someone had a serious side effect from a drug provided by the band, or even with the appearance of tacit approval of the band, that person, or their next-of-kin would sue the ..uhh... pants off of the person that handed out the drug, the band itself, its management, the owners of the rehearsal hall, ... you get the idea... One such lawsuit, I believe, would kill a band. Perhaps it would be resurrected with a new name, but why would any responsible person take the chance? Making music should be fun. If it's not, and it causes such stress that one needs to take drugs like this, WHY DO IT??????! Just my two cents (US)...
