Kew Band (Melbourne Australia) is holding a farewell concert
just before it departs for its tour of Japan.  The concert
will be held at the MLC Music Auditorium Barkers Road Kew on
Sunday 14th November at 8.00pm.  The concert will be varied
and include major works and light music and will feature
guest trombonist Brett Baker from the U.K.  Kew is currently
ranked the number one band in Australia (according to the
computer rankings of Australia's Band World Magazine) and is
the current A Grade Victorian champions.  Tickets may be
obtained by calling the secretary of the band, Ian Mathers
on (03) 9878 3132 or fax (03) 9894 1727.
