I worked for a large Instrument retailer in the late 80's / early 90's.
Boosey & Hawkes had problems with their lacquer then, however they were
quite good at sorting out the problems. Unlike one another (non UK)
company who had the attitude that if the Lacquer peeled on, say, a
trombone, flugel or cornet named after JS and a Fiddle manufacturer it
was T.S.B. as lacquer was not warranted!!!
