I was going to send a PS to my post anyway, but as I got the URL wrong last
night (must have been the lack of beer) I definitely have to now.

Last night we had our first joint rehearsal with the Normandy Band, and let
me tell you (no, go on!) these boys are GOOD!  The concert's gonna be a good
'un, so miss it at your peril.

For those who missed it, here is the gen, with the corrected URL (what a
bumbler!):

Concert in aid of Children in Need, to be held this Friday, 19th November
1999, at 7.30pm, at the Temple Speech Room, Barby Road, Rugby, Warwickshire.
Taking part are...


  The Normandy Band (Queen's Division)
  Bilton Silver (Rugby) Band
  The Woodlands Singers
  Rugby Male Voice Choir.

The programme includes traditional gala concert fare (Zadok the Priest,
Aida) and a variety of other popular pieces (you can find it in full on

Entrance by Programme: Adults 8.50, Concessions: 7.00, Children 5.00.
