The Conn 8H and 88H(with f valve) were very popular instruments prior to the 
Bach 42 and 42B. They are not necessarily rare however the ones made in 
Elkhart are significantly better then those made after they moved to Texas. I 
recently sold my 8H for $1000.00 USA
