Richard, When I played with Tyldesley in the early 90's (then under Lancastrian Building Society sponsorship) we recorded a cassette. One of the tracks was the one you're after. Like the rest of the tracks, it was conducted by Darrol. The flugel solo was played very ably by Stuart Speakman, now with Wingates. Ian Twiss (who played sop with Marple at the Open) also shows what a sop should sound like, in "Return to Sorrento." No CDs were cut. You can get copies direct from the band. Hope this helps.
