Weston Silver Band will present a program this coming Sunday evening
with Richard Marshall as guest soloist. Richard is principal cornet with
Grimethorpe Collieries Band and, as we heard at last night's rehearsal,
a wonderful young cornet player.

He will be playing the Slavische Fantasy, Dal Steiger's Carnival of
Venice, Softly Awakes My Heart and Someone Cares.

Weston will be playing The Message of Christmas, Three Kings Swing, Noel
and some lollipops.

The concert is at 7:00 PM, Sunday Dec. 5 in Central United Church,
Weston Road and King Street, south of the 401 in Toronto. tickets are
$10.00, $8.00 seniors and students.

This guy really is an outstanding player, one of the best I have heard.
