After playing this piece a few times my low register has become much
stronger and my technique has improved greatly but with your references to
"wandering star" Who is it arranged by? I would like to try it. I think a
solo by bass trombone is much more entertaining than a overture. may be that
is influenced by my age? A 17 yr old Bass trom player better known as
"Brosky", "Barnacle" and many names which I have been led to believe are
foreign. Are young players encouraging a newer style of music and straying
away from the traditional March, overture & cornet solo? Your views.
