This was pretty much my thinking in running the free music offer with the
mailing list. Not everyone takes up the offer, and that's fine, but a fair
number do. My only rule has been that it must be one of my own pieces, not one
of the other arrangers on my books, and that it's a piece that I don't have to
pay royalties for. Generally, though not always, this means it's a composition.

It's been a useful vehicle for me to get my name known as a composer.
