In reply to the mouthpiece change question for "front row" cornet
players....a word of advice.....Select the mouthpiece that best enhances the
type of playing you do most..the demands of a 2nd cornet are much different
to those of a solo cornet player, ever seen a marathon runner practice
sprinting, NO, that's cause he doesn't need to cover short distances in a
small amount of time, he's more concerned abut endurance and pacing himself
for the 26 miles....there both considered running, but they're 2 completely
different types of running....so take a look at what it takes to do the job yo
u're doing, and adjust accordingly...
