Try Ray Payne 01929 469360. I think he lives in Yorkshire but I'm not sure
where you're based (Chesire?). He hired out the instruments for Pontins this
year and he was very helpful. Failing that, there is always Impact 0171 403
5900 and Pro Perc 020 7485 4434 but they tend to be a bit pricey.

If you're still stuck, email me off list and I'll give you a few more numbers
of players round your area that I think might have one.

Incidentally, marimbas can be picked up new for at least half the price of a
tuba if you know where to shop (Holland).
