Hi Listees,

Just popped out of 'lurkee mode' , to ask if there are any bands in the
Camberley, Frimley area that might be able to
put up with a Ex-near-geordie (sunderland actually) Lincolnite  Bb Solo
cornet player , for a practise next week ( 9th - 13th Jan  and/or  6th -
10th Feb).

I'm down there on a course at SUN Microsystems, and will be staying at
the One Oak Toby.

I don't mind playing any section, any cornet position. Just so I can
keep my lip 'in' (after a rather too long rest over the xmas and new
year period........... boy, it did tell on Tuesday nights practise!!).

I normally get in at least three nights practise a week.

BTW I now use vaseline lip care for chapped lips. It's too greasy to
play on, but for after playing it is very protective - PLUS you can use
it on your slides etc etc.. :-)
