Jeramy with regards to Toccata Wilfred Heaton Originally scored it for brass sextet at the request of Bramwell Coles Heaton does not recall when or why he rescored it for full band (without percussion I might add) The Army did not shelve the piece as you put it Ray Steadman Allen had it published in 1974 Regards Wayne Lewis --
