In Canada, the summer breaks usually start around the end of June with things
getting back into full swing after Labour Day which is always the first Monday
in September.
The break is usually built around the time the children are out of school. I
believe it is somewhat different in the U S of A.
Of course it is also different in University in Canada as well as they are on a
semester system. Some of the university students are finished in April or early
May.
